Party Spotlight: Rookie of the Year
This party was an exciting FIRST for the Paper Plane family, and it all started with an idea.. Mom and Dad were avid baseball fans (for opposing Texas teams, so picking a color scheme wasn't easy, ha). The little Rookie's NAME was even selected because of how great it would sound announced in a stadium full of adoring future fans - so THIS idea was an easy one.
The baseball card invitation came next, the Sandlot-inspired cake was after that, and the perfect touches of stadium snacks, treats, baseball-topped charcuterie kabobs, field-inspired runners, and more fell perfectly into place.
Guests decorated their own name pennants, were encouraged to wear their favorite baseball team's colors and jersey, trophies were brought out of storage and painted in coordinating colors, and not pictured is the Hall of Fame photos with pictures of mom and dad's baseball playing days as a fun treat (to point and laugh at). It was a fun party that we think was a HOMERUN for all.
